Swansea Old Ducks A report by Janet John Swansea Old Duck’s Society The meeting time was 10am at Junction 33 on the M4 – we arrived early to find that there were already people there to join us for the day.
photo courtesy Janet John (Swansea Old Ducks Society) Eventually we left at 10.45 – and after a slight delay for the traffic jams we head out for our first stop – coffee at Llantwit Major.
photo courtesy Janet John (Swansea Old Ducks Society) We then set out to Marcross village and Nash Point Lighthouse, most of the group took the opportunity to have a tour of the lighthouse with the local historian.
photo courtesy Janet John (Swansea Old Ducks Society) Before leaving for home we stopped at the Horshoe Inn for a meal and a slice of birthday cake (home made by Alison) = which was in honour of the groups 2nd Birthday.
